Multifamily property management in Metro Detroit
Beck Property Management Group manages 10+ unit apartment, commercial, and mixed-use buildings across Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne counties, from Royal Oak and Troy to Novi, Sterling Heights, Dearborn, and Livonia. We own and operate Michigan apartments ourselves, so we manage your building the way we manage our own.
Michigan's largest rental market, and the most competitive
Metro Detroit's renters work across the auto industry, health systems like Corewell Health and Henry Ford Health, and universities including Wayne State. Owners compete with a deep supply of apartments across the suburbs, and many communities run their own rental registration and inspection programs, so leasing, renewals, and inspection readiness all have to run on schedule, with a manager who answers, shows up, and reports without being chased.
- We're owners too. Our team runs The Circle Apartments in Midland under the same standards we offer clients, so you can see how we work before you sign.
- We commit in writing. A vendor dispatched within 1 hour of a resident emergency and a team member on site within 4 hours, reported on your scorecard every month.
- We use local vendors. Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne County trades are vetted, licensed where required, and billed to you at cost with no markup.

Questions Metro Detroit owners ask
You're based in Midland. How do you cover Metro Detroit?
Metro Detroit is about two hours from our Midland office, so we don't depend on driving down for every call. We depend on a local vendor bench and a written standard. Vetted Metro Detroit trades are dispatched within 1 hour of a resident emergency, a team member is on site within 4 hours, and every building gets quarterly exterior inspections and an annual interior inspection. Those numbers are on your monthly scorecard, so you can see whether we met them.
Do you manage outside Metro Detroit?
Yes. We manage from the Great Lakes Bay Region (Midland, Bay City, and Saginaw) to Lansing, Flint, Livingston County, and Ann Arbor.
What size buildings do you take on?
Apartment communities, commercial, and mixed-use buildings of 10 or more units, and portfolios of several buildings under one agreement.
What does management cost?
Pricing is quoted in writing after we review your property. There are no setup, onboarding, renewal, or early-termination charges, and no markup on vendor repairs or parts.
How long is the agreement?
Month-to-month. Either party can end it with 30 days' written notice.
Are you licensed in Michigan?
Yes. Beck Property Management Group LLC holds Michigan Real Estate Broker Company License No. 6505434010, and Kody E. King is the Principal Associate Broker, License No. 6502434136. Michigan requires a broker license to manage property for others.
